Inspired music, chat, interviews and quizzes. Listen to friends broadcasting across the village and help support our very own radio station as it reaches out to our community. Time Out for Parents ~ a Positive Parenting course for parents of children aged 0 -9 commences on 9th June for six Tuesdays between 7.45 and 9.30 pm at the Church on the Heath. More details from June Shorey on 01252 843803. Time Out for Dads ~ A Positive Parenting course just for Dads. Starting 18th June for 4 Thursday evenings from 8.00 – 9.45. See flyers at back of church. Midsummer’s Night Dream ~ Hazeley House on 20 June. This event is SOLD OUT! Event is raising funds for St John's New Buildings Appeal. Christian Aid Week ~ we raised £3,888. Thank you to all who helped and gave. Church Office ~ will be closed on Thursday, 18 June. Back to normal week commencing 21 June but from week commencing 28 June the office hours will change to: Tuesday afternoon 2 – 4.30 pm, Thursday 9.00 – 4.30 pm, Friday, 9.00 – 1.00 pm. Hartley Wintney Festival ~ Saturday 13 June Mothers' Union Charity Stall. We we are looking for things to sell on our stall & would like donations of quality goods, books, toys, toiletries, fancy items, preserves, plants, homemade cakes & biscuits (please wrap & label, note if any nuts used). Donations to Linda Sisson (843904) or brought to the stall on the day. MU members please let Linda know times you are available to work on the stall so that no one needs to do the whole day! New Wine ~ Between 60 and 100 people from St John’s go each year. There are some promotional DVDs and invitations at the back of the Church. Please help yourself and return when finished. It would be really fantastic to see even more people from St John’s at New Wine 2009. Volunteers to clean the church ~ Fridays between 9-10am. You can join a rota so it won't be every week.
